About the Role
As a Key Account Manager – Aerospace & Defense, you will be the commercial face of Seco Tools for key customers within the Turkish aerospace and defense ecosystem. You will manage and develop strategic accounts, coordinate complex opportunities, and ensure that our customers receive high-value technical and commercial support.
You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Technical Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, and regional teams, acting as a central point of coordination to deliver outstanding customer experience and sustainable growth.
This is a field-based role, with regular customer visits and travel primarily within Türkiye.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing and growing sales of cutting tools, application services, and solutions for assigned Aerospace & Defense accounts
Acting as the primary commercial contact for key customers, building strong relationships at multiple organizational levels
Identifying customer needs and translating them into tailored technical and commercial solutions
Driving new business opportunities within existing and new accounts, from lead identification to closing
Coordinating closely with Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs) to ensure optimal application support and service levels
Supporting and aligning distributor activities where applicable to ensure consistent customer experience
Planning and prioritizing your activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Gathering and sharing market intelligence on customer trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
Using CRM and digital tools to manage accounts, opportunities, forecasting, and reporting accurately
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in B2B industrial or technical sales, ideally within machining, metal cutting, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
Knowledgeable about Aerospace and Defense manufacturing processes and machining applications
A confident communicator with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
Commercially minded, with a consultative and value-based sales approach
Proactive, structured, and analytical, with a solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating effectively in cross-functional and cross-border teams
Proficient in CRM systems and digital sales tools
Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken)
Willing to travel regularly within Türkiye
