Feedback and Warranty Specialist

The Underground Drilling division is currently seeking a Feedback and Warranty Specialist to join our team in Tampere, Finland. The Underground Drilling division within Business area Mining is an industry leading global provider of drilling equipment for underground mining and tunneling industry with focus on technology development and future innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers. Sandvik Mining and Construction Oys Tampere site is a global technology and manufacturing center for Underground Drilling equipment.

Your Mission

As Feedback and Warranty Specialist, your main responsibility is to collaborate closely with local sales area teams to identify and define product improvement needs and development ideas. You will also play a key role in recognizing recurring quality issues and ensuring that relevant information is effectively communicated to the appropriate stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to understand complex technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage feedback handling by defining needs raised by sales area teams and customers.
  • Coordinating and communicating these needs across internal stakeholders while maintaining active dialogue with sales areas regarding progress
  • Analyze data to identify trends, recurring issues and similarities that can lead to product improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Support in warranty handling activities such as claim management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, systems and processes

Your Background and Profile

We are seeking a customer-oriented problem solver in our team. You hold a suitable degree (BSc or MSc) in Engineering - such as Electrical, Automation or Hydraulic Engineering. You have a strong technical orientation with the ability to understand how complex systems interact. You are eager to deepen your expertise and continuously expand your knowledge.

You thrive in a collaborative, international environment and enjoy working with global stakeholders. You have previous experience in the manufacturing industry and preferably in the aftermarket business as well. Analytical skills and the ability to recognize patterns between different technical phenomena are considered valuable assets. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication in our international setting. Experience with CRM and engineering tools - such as Salesforce and Teamcenter - are considered an advantage.
