About the opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join us as an Operations Field Support Representative.
You’ll receive comprehensive training covering all aspects of the role, which includes the daily servicing of drilling consumables as part of the Sandvik Rock Tools Contract team.
This position involves working across various underground mine sites in Western Australia, where you’ll interact directly with customers and handle hands-on Rock Tools operations.
You’ll also report on consumable usage, performance, condition, and failures ensuring all activities meet contract requirements, site procedures, and Sandvik standards for safe and efficient operations.
FIFO from Adelaide / Port Augusta.
Responsibilities
Manage and monitor inventory levels at site
Plan and deliver daily consumables to underground drills
Receive and store goods delivered to site
Collect and report accurate data on consumable usage, performance, condition, and failures through Sandvik Track and Report
Engage positively with mining operators
Meet EHS requirements, including personal risk assessments, attending site safety meetings, daily safety checks, and monthly inspections
About you
Essential requirements:
Valid manual C Class Driver’s Licence
Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
Reliable for FIFO roster (8 days on / 6 days off – 12-hour day shifts)
Able to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks
Strong customer focus and service mindset
Works well independently and in a team
Adaptable, resilient, and safety-conscious
Excellent English communication skills
Ideally, you have experience working underground around heavy equipment and hold current inductions.
You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, great customer service, and solid communication skills. Knowledge of on-site service contracts, underground mining, or Sandvik drilling products is advantageous.
You’re physically fit (able to lift at least 45 kg) and open to learning, training, and hands-on work.
