Job Summary
Sandvik is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (with training exposure) to join HR team. This role is primarily focused on talent acquisition, with additional responsibilities in training activities, aligned with the needs of a mid-sized operation and a streamlined organizational structure.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Source, recruit, and recommend candidates (internal and external) across all levels, including entry-level, experienced professionals, technical roles, and support staff.
Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
Coordinate interview processes, including scheduling and developing interview questions in collaboration with hiring managers to ensure a fair and efficient process.
Conduct reference checks, manage candidate communication, and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates in line with company policies.
Responding to inquiries regarding recruitment activities and job vacancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, reports, and documentation in line with organizational standards.
Ensure all recruitment processes are aligned with company policies, including compliance and reporting requirements.
Support recruitment activities such as campus hiring, job fairs, and coordination with external agencies where required.
Training:
Design, coordinate, and manage employee training programs.
Plan and deliver training programs and customer assignments in line with budget and facilitate training sessions when required.
Evaluate and follow up on training programs within the area of responsibility, and initiate necessary improvements (delivery methods, level, and course offerings / materials within area of expertise).
Manage and maintain training activities and reports, including all related administrative processes and updating.
Stay updated on organizational developments and integrate relevant initiatives into training programs.
COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE
As the matrix organization you will be collaborating with many people within Sandvik in both global and SEA regions, including Business Line Managers in terms of recruitment and training processes.
Collaborate with L&D Specialists, along with other local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness of training programs, TNAs and training plans.

PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT & MOBILITY
Any environment (office Balikpapan and Jakarta).
Willing to travel globally within Sandvik area and/or from site to site or other area assigned within country of Indonesia.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment (end-to-end hiring) is required.
Exposure to training and development is an advantage; candidates with combined experience in both areas in mining industry will be an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) – ability to conduct presentations in English is a must.
Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday, is preferred.
Willingness to take on talent acquisition with additional training responsibilities as part of an integrated role.
Intermediate English proficiency (CEFR Level C1).
