Your mission
In this position, you’re an important part of the management team of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, and a strategic financial partner to the President of the Business Area. You protect and enhance shareholder value by ensuring depth and accuracy in figures and by building confidence in decision making. Together with our management team, you make sure that we have strong execution and a high performing organization. You lead our finance community in a global matrix setting, covering all divisions and support functions, and with your expertise and involvement, you ensure that we follow the overall strategic direction and common ways of working.

As a vital part of your assignment, you assist in M&As and other investments and you drive necessary change initiatives. By understanding the market and performing industry analysis, you inform our management of both political and economic factors which may influence our business plans. Building bridges at all levels throughout Sandvik is key to being successful in this position, and you provide a confident, inspiring and supportive leadership to our organization.

As we’re truly global, extensive travel is required in this role, and when not travelling, you’re located at our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your profile
You have a proven track record from increasingly large, international and demanding positions with a strategic responsibility for financial operations, M&A’s and business development. Your career includes previous experience from leading strong financial performance management, along with experience from executive management work. Ideally you have held the overall responsibility as CFO in a global business with a high degree of complexity, and to further succeed in this role, you are a commercial and business focused finance professional. It’s also a plus if you are familiar with the mining industry and its operations. Naturally, your communication skills in English must be excellent.
