About your job

As our Technical Writer, you play a key role in creating high-quality documentation for our cutting-edge equipment, systems, and digital solutions. You collaborate with engineers, product managers, service experts, and other stakeholders to produce manuals, technical guides, installation instructions, and spare parts catalogues that support both internal teams and global customers.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in compliance with industry standards and Sandvik’s brand voice.
  • Translate complex engineering and product information into clear, structured content.
  • Create spare parts catalogues, manuals, and user documentation.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Engineering, Aftermarket, and Service teams.
  • Manage content lifecycle in content management systems.
  • Ensure documentation supports global safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to digitalization initiatives, such as interactive manuals and smart documentation.

Location and flexibility

The location for this position is Svedala, a short commute from Malmö. We offer you hybrid work arrangements, combining office work with work from home.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with proven experience as a technical writer – preferably within manufacturing, mining, or similar technical environments – and an interest in industrial technology. You’re familiar with structured authoring, XML and content management systems. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a technical education or background (e.g., engineering, technical communication, or a related field). You have an intrest in new technology. You have strong skills in English while knowledge of Swedish or other languages is a plus.
Curiosity, clarity, and collaboration are the backbone of your character. You approach your work with structure and attention to detail, while staying open to new tools, digital ways of working, and emerging technologies such as AI. Your proactive mindset, combined with the ability to translate complexity into simplicity, helps both colleagues and customers succeed.
