Sandvik summer job 2026 - Staff positions, other operations / Lahti

We at Sandvik might be looking for you! We are now looking for summer employees at our Lahti factory, which designs, manufactures and markets hydraulic breakers and demolition tools. Our goal is to show you how interesting and versatile working in a global company can be. What kind of summer jobs do we have?

In staff positions within other operations, you can work in areas such as production development and as an order and delivery coordination. These positions are primarily intended for students in the final stages of their studies.

In Product Development, you will work in software, electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic design. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in prototype testing. The design tasks involve developing new products as well as maintaining existing ones.

As an Order and Delivery Coordinator, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Your responsibilities include processing orders for mining machines and components, arranging transportation, preparing export documentation, and handling invoicing.

What kind of person are we looking for?

You can apply for a summer job without previous experience. However, a degree in a relevant field, previous work experience or hobbies relevant to the job will be useful for many positions. We are looking for students from vocational colleges, polytechnics and universities. Success in all positions depends on an active and proactive approach to work and good teamwork skills. We require our summer trainee to be 16 years old.
