Job Summary
Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for the Warehouse Operator based in Adaro, Tanjung – Kalimantan Selatan.
The role is responsible to administers and operates the organization's warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Always follow correct processes in the work area to achieve set daily operational KPIs and mitigate operational risks.
Ensure all customers receive the correct parts and quantities accurately and on time.
Report any discrepancies relating to inventory, safety, or other anomalies.
Assist with stock counts, including wall-to-wall and cycle counts.
Maintain housekeeping and adhere to safety standards.
Receive inbound purchase orders or transfer orders.
Carry out put-away/binning of stock, order picking, and order packing.
Perform warehouse administration and maintain housekeeping.
Use correct tools and materials safely when executing operational processes (e.g., forklift).
Complete daily inspections on equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Assist in accurately and methodically preparing documentation for relevant orders.
Handle customer queries when requested to resolve relevant issues.
Provide backup support to all team members as required.
Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance as and when necessary.
Account for all materials and supplies in the store’s facilities; audit goods received into the warehouse.
Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE
As the matrix organization you will be collaborating with many people within Sandvik in both global and SEA regions, including Business Line Managers and factories in Tampere and Alachua.
Direct report to Site Coordinator / Site Manager and indirect report to Logistic and Warehouse Manager in Balikpapan
Coordinating closely with CSSR personnel to ensure orders are accurately processed, delivered, and invoiced to customers in a timely manner
Collaboration with technicians to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and smooth coordination of service activities

Regularly review EHS performance metrics and lead improvement initiatives based on trends, audits, and incidents.
Ensure effective communication of EHS priorities and expectations to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Demonstrate exemplary EHS behavior and ensure the organization complies with Sandvik global EHS Policy, ISO 14001/45001, and SMKP requirements.
Empower all employees to stop and report any work that appears unsafe or could cause harm, without fear of retaliation.
PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT & MOBILITY
Field - Any environment (Location Customer Sites / Warehouse).
Willing to travel globally within Sandvik area and/or from site to site within country of Indonesia.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
High school or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with having post-secondary education/training in business or supply chain discipline would be an advantage.
More than 1 year experience in supply chain environment / warehousing / distribution or relevant experience.
Proficient skill in English with written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft office.
Strong attention to detail with organizes and time management skills.
Can-Do attitude.
Ability to travel regionally or stationed on site.
Prior exposure to ERP, WMS, TMS and EHS management systems (experience with Aurora and DI is an advantage)
