Technical Parts Support Specialist – Brisbane QLD & Perth, WA
About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for 2x Technical Parts Support Specialist to join our Parts & Service team in Brisbane and Perth. In this fast‑paced and technically focused role, you will be the central point for urgent parts interpretation, providing rapid, accurate, and reliable support to internal stakeholders.
Your day will involve diagnosing parts requirements using internal systems and online schematics, validating critical information, and supporting our Sales Representatives and Customer Support Centre to minimise machine downtime. You will collaborate closely with Product Support teams, global suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver fast, practical solutions that keep our customers’ operations running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for problem‑solving in a high‑impact environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide rapid-response technical parts interpretation using digital systems and machine schematics.
Identify, validate, and confirm correct parts requirements to support internal teams.
Gather and prioritise critical information to effectively triage incoming requests.
Collaborate with Product Support Representatives to identify alternative parts or interim solutions.
Communicate updates, impacts, and changes regarding parts availability clearly and promptly.
Assist Sales Areas with escalations by providing reliable technical guidance.
Respond to internal and external sales enquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, part numbers, and solution outcomes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across workflows and systems.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum two years’ experience working with technical systems, supported by a trade qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Familiarity with parts cataloguing, interpretation systems, or mechanical schematics.
High level of computer proficiency, including confidence navigating multiple systems.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when conveying technical details.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse and supportive team.
