Sales Engineer

About the role

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in growing market share, introducing new products, and strengthening customer relationships.

This role will be based in Hunan or Hubei province and report to Regional Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

Realize individual sales target, implementation of sales policies, procedures to ensure compliance with Sandvik policies.
Respond to complex customer inquiries and provide tooling recommendations.
Ensure receivable account balance monthly; follow up with customers on outstanding balances and ensure that customers pay as per terms to help manage cash flow and reduce potential bad debts.
Lead sales plans using CRM via leads, opportunities and customer visit reports.
Drive negotiation and defense of prices and margins with end users and distributors.

About you

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience with metalworking/cutting tools
Strong communication and presentation skills (small and large groups)
Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience preferred
Good English both in oral and written
