Senior Buyer Analyst
Sandvik has an opportunity for a Senior Buyer Analyst position in Alachua, Florida USA (greater Gainesville, FL area).).

The Rotary Drilling Division is now looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Buyer Analyst who will be responsible for procurement to support production and after-market support.
The key responsibilities are:
Purchase components based on requirements within MRP.
Expedite, de-expedite, and cancel parts based on production requirements.
Purchase components for Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) via hand requisitions or through the internet approval sites. (As needed)
Resolve any invoice disputes with the supplier.
Resolve non-conforming parts by sending parts back to the supplier for evaluation, rework, or replacement.
Gather information from suppliers to gain a better understanding of the assigned suppliers' supply constraints.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business management or applicable studies, with (3) years of experience,
Or Associate's degree & 4+ years’ experience in purchasing manufacturing parts,
Or Equivalent Educational background with 5+ years’ experience in purchasing manufacturing parts.
Required Competencies
Ability to follow instructions and processes to perform the functions of the job.
Ability to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.
Ability to type 35wpm and 10-key data entry.
Creativity to continuously improve processes.
Fluent in both written and oral English; Spanish is a plus.
Knowledge of ERP or MRP and their applications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Strong interpersonal skills are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
