Tactical Buyer - Reynoldsville, PA

Seco Tools Niagara Cutter is seeking a Tactical Buyer to support our round tools facility in Reynoldsville, PA. This role requires working within a team environment from the Seco manufacturing facility and reports to the Controller.

Profile and Position Summary

At Seco Tools, we take pride in our round tools facility and our ability to manufacture and ship quality products on time to our customers. This role is responsible for the production of round tools in our manufacturing facility.

We place great value on your personal qualities in this recruitment. You take pride in your analytical and problem-solving skills while having strong experience in medium to low volume manufacturing. You have direct related work experience.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

Implement and follow-up sourcing plans.
Identify, prepare, propose and select sourcing projects and activities.
Identify, prepare, propose lead and manage sourcing projects and cases.
Onboarding (evaluation and approval) of suppliers.
Create, negotiate, sign and implement contracts.
Support and measure use of and compliance with contracts.
Contract maintenance.
Supplier assessment (performance evaluation/measurement).
Normal supply issue resolution.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Participate in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.
Maintains documentation including but not limited to: special orders for materials, change logs, supplier registers, savings trackers, customer screening.
Generates reports to include late date order reports
Act as a Seco Leader
Other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferred and/or related operations experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Computer proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people skills
