We’re now looking for someone to join our Sandvik Coromant Procurement team – joining us in this position you get to work in close collaboration with internal customers and stakeholders, as well as external suppliers. Your mission
In this role, you will support/develop Indirect spend categories in an industrial manufacturing environment. You play a significant part in establishing and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers. In addition, you lead, prepare, propose and participate in sourcing projects and cases which includes supplier selection and creation of contracts.

You report to the Sandvik Coromant Procurement Americas group and work closely with cross-functional teams. This necessitates strong communication skills and stakeholder management within our business as well as across production and sales units.

The right candidate can work hybrid from home (1 day) and office (4 days) at Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC. This is a salaried, exempt position with domestic travel included as part of the job (currently approximately 10%).

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or relevant field of study or equivalent (5+ years) practical experience working in a similar role. You’re a proven, skillful negotiator with strategic sourcing experience across multiple categories. Preferably, you also have experience in project management. We find it highly beneficial if you have CPSM certification or equivalent diploma.

You're an outgoing person with an analytical and strategic approach. Building relationships are key to success and through communication you build and strengthen those internal and external connections. Complementing this is your drive for results and your willingness to adapt in an ever-changing business setting.
