YOUR MISSION
As a Production Planner for Spare Parts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate spare parts orders to meet customer needs, ensuring that our clients receive timely and accurate deliveries. You also will be tasked with managing obsolete inventory, thereby contributing to cost savings and sustainability efforts. Your role is essential to maintaining the reliability and performance of our products, directly impacting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and process sales and work orders for spare parts and miscellaneous tasks.
Coordinate with SMC Logistics to confirm spare parts orders, ensuring material availability and aligning with production schedules.
Oversee the production schedule within the ERP system, ensuring balanced workload distribution.
Track progress and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders.
Lead spare parts production meetings to ensure timely deliveries.
Distribute parts and materials to work orders in accordance with the allocation process and necessary approvals.
Offer pricing and lead-time information to SMC Logistics for their product purchases.
Oversee obsolete inventory management and organize meetings to determine disposition.
YOUR PROFILE
Able to legally work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or applicable studies with 2+ years’ experience in relatable field (or) an Associate’s degree & 3+ years’ experience in relatable field
Understand assembly processes, capacity management methods, warehouse operations, production planning principles, and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of rotary drilling assembly process is a plus.
Work cooperatively with different functions and personalities to keep stakeholders aligned.
Drive for solutions to meet customer needs.
Are self-motivated and organized to meet deadlines.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize tasks/projects based on business needs.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Follow instructions and processes to perform the functions of the job.
Function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.
Analyze data and provide solutions.
Are adept with computers, including:
Proficiency with MS Excel & Outlook.
Proficiency with typing skills, including 10-key numeric.
Working knowledge of ERP system, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
