HR Generalist

Your Role: HR Generalist-HZL Business

As part of our HR team, The HRG is responsible for HR operations of HZL business along with the Line Manager (HRBP). The role would support the SMR employees posted in HZL Mines & Leaders from HR standpoint and ensure highest satisfaction levels at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sandvik Safety & Environment Policy’s, Systems and Programs are understood and communicated to all direct reports. Be familiar with and comply with proper health and safety practices and Visibly and personally participate in safety activities to show safety's importance. Sandvik Customer receives appropriate information regarding Sandvik EHS Policy, philosophy, performance and standards
  • To define and ensure effective execution/adherence of the HR Model / HR Way of Working.
  • Support in the Recruitment process (Selection, offer placement, etc) as a part of the Business Area Team.
  • Support the Talent management process through executing Talent Development programs.
  • Support the Performance Management & Annual Salary Review for the assigned Business Area / Product Area.
  • Effective execute the HR initiatives as per the design & timeslines.
  • Support SEmp (Employee Satisfaction Survey) process in line with the model & guidelines.
  • Support the employee life cycle management process in purview of the Business Area.
  • Responsible for maintenance & management of MIS & Analytics.
  • Facilitate the design & execution of Learning plans for the responsible BA / PA.
  • Facilitate the Employee communication process in alignment with Leadership Team & Communication team.
  • Support to build & execute the Employee engagement model in a structured way.
  • Design, execute & run the employee reward & recognition programs.
  • Support the Expatriate management process.
  • Support in budget planning & compliances.
  • Support in compliance management.
  • Competence profiling & Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience as HR Generalist, preferably in global roles within manufacturing MNC’s
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in working with learning management systems (Workday preferred)
