About the Role: Are you passionate about technology and customer service? As a Field Service Technician at Sandvik SMS, you'll be at the forefront of providing top-notch technical support and expertise to our valued customers. You will work closely with clients to ensure seamless integration of TDM software into their manufacturing environments, provide training, and troubleshoot technical issues. You'll play a key role in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring our products and services exceed customer expectations. Your work will directly contribute to maximizing the benefits our clients derive from our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze & Advise: Understand customer technical needs and recommend effective solutions.
  • Train & Educate: Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions for partners and customers.
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve: Address and solve technical issues during and after product implementation.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to tailor our offerings to customer requirements.
  • Develop & Test: Create test applications for modules, including customer-specific components.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (and software engineering) or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a technical support or field service role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and CNC machining processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in hardware installations and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in software installations and maintenance.
  • Background in sales support and software product training.
  • Familiarity with developing proposals and exploration activities.
  • Knowledge of systems design.
