Your mission
As our Regional Category Manager for Commercial, you manage the commercial sourcing category, which includes e.g. Hydraulic Systems, Electrics, Cabins, Power, Engine Systems, Mechanical components and Automation Systems. Your work involves strategic and operational sourcing, negotiating contracts and pricing, performing category analysis, and supporting new development projects. By building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and externally, you assess and develop suppliers. Driving sustainability initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and creating suppliers’ forecasts are key parts of your mission. You also identify and implement projects that lead to cost savings and added value, monitor price trends, and negotiate, report and forecast price changes.
Knowledge of electrical and automation systems, design, drawings, and production processes is essential, including calculating production time and understanding production methods and assembly.
The location for this position is Svedala. Travel to suppliers in Sweden, Europe and Asia may occur.
About you
We’re looking for someone with several years of experience in sourcing, ideally combined with an engineering degree. Previous experience in similar sourcing areas is essential where you have, e.g. worked with evaluating suppliers both financially and technically, and worked with development projects. Familiarity with systems such as M3 and SAP is also valuable, and we work with PowerBI, so strong skills in Excel are required. Since we operate locally and belong to a global organization, fluency in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, is necessary.
You’re analytical, structured and solution-oriented and have an eye both for details and the bigger picture. You thrive in project work, manage multiple priorities and through clear communication you build strong and honest relationships. You enjoy working in a small team with broad internal and external contacts and can collaborate easily with different people.
