Field Service Supervisor – Mackay | Queensland
About the opportunity
The key focus of the Field Service Supervisor role is being responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel and fostering the growth and financial success of the Field Service business. This role overseeing the tasks of all supervisors and tradespeople who are involved in all areas of Field service and coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders and handling warranty claim procedures. An integral part of this role is also to provide exceptional customer service and strive to meet customer needs effectively and fulfil the business needs of Sandvik.
This role is a Monday – Friday position.
Responsibilities
- Providing supervision and direction to team members.
- Undertaking all planning requirements to ensure utilisation of labour and resources in an effective manner.
- Coordinating field service technicians on a day-to-day basis in relation to the needs of the customer and business.
- Processing and responding to warranty claims as per Sandvik processes.
- Development and training of field service personnel.
- Communicate clearly and work with all business lines to provide a consistent service and support to our customers in the region.
- Customer liaison and site visits as required.
- Meet KPI’s and prepare weekly and monthly reporting.
About you
You are a Mackay local, with previous experience in a mechanical workshop environment coupled with trade qualifications and minimum of 5 years post trade experience. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business would be advantageous but not a requirement.
You have a strong EHS management culture with a drive and determination to achieve company targets and goals. A positive and proactive outlook with excellent communication skills to ensure customer expectations are achieved.
