About the Role:
Based at Heatherbrae and reporting to the EHSQ Manager APAC, the Product Quality Coordinator is responsible for driving continuous improvement of product quality standards. This includes reviewing and enhancing routine testing and inspection activities, leading quality investigations, managing calibration and gauging systems, and supporting improvements in manufacturing processes. The role also provides technical support for customer quality concerns, change management, and sales enquiries to ensure high product reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee and improve routine product testing and inspection processes to ensure ongoing compliance with product quality standards.
- Lead product quality investigations and failure analyses, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions across all operational sites.
- Manage calibration and gauging systems, analysing data to enhance equipment accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
- Coordinate manufacturing quality controls through the collection, interpretation, and reporting of performance data to strengthen process reliability.
- Maintain laboratory standards, validate testing methods, and ensure efficient workflow and information management across laboratory operations.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) improvements, including NCR management, internal and external auditing, reporting, and system enhancements.
About You:
You bring strong technical capability in interpreting mechanical drawings, applying materials standards, and operating quality testing equipment. You have experience in laboratory or manufacturing environments, with the ability to develop systems of work and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your communication skills enable effective collaboration across departments, and you thrive in solving complex quality challenges while supporting a high‑performance, safety‑focused culture.
