Join Our Team as a Human Resources Business Partner
This is a genuinely strategic HR Business Partner role where you’ll work closely with leaders across Sales Area Oceania to deliver exceptional people solutions and tackle complex challenges across the full employment lifecycle.
You’ll play a key role in shaping a high-performing, values-driven culture, building workforce capability, and supporting business continuity to strengthen our position as an employer of choice.
Your mission:
Align the People Plan with business and stakeholder priorities
Attract, develop and retain exceptional talent
Provide expert support across all stages of the employment lifecycle
Coach leaders on effective people management practices
Manage and mitigate employee-relations risks through proactive, constructive solutions
Ensure compliance with modern awards and lead complex projects such as roster optimisation
Champion The Sandvik Way by embedding our values, fostering inclusion, and reinforcing a positive workplace culture
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Industrials Relations or Employment Law
Deep experience across all facets of the employment lifecycle
Proven capability in resolving complex ER and IR issues and managing related projects
Strong understanding of award interpretation and compliance
Analytical strength – able to translate workforce data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
A people-first mindset with a passion for engagement, capability growth, and continuous improvement
