About the job
You’re responsible for developing and implementing our technology and innovation strategy, ensuring our product range evolves and meets market demands. You lead and inspire engineering teams, driving technical excellence and collaboration.
Your tasks include:
- Designing and optimizing product portfolios.
- Developing construction standards, such as Siemens NX or Teamcenter.
- Managing technical engineering and application engineering teams.
- Preparing and delivering technical training for customers and representatives globally.
- Providing technical support to internal and external partners.
- Coordinating with Sandvik Coromant teams to harmonize the offer and sales processes
The location for this position is Solothurn, Switzerland.
Your profile
You have a technical apprenticeship EFZ, ideally complemented by further experience in machining and/or design. You bring proven leadership experience in engineering or design, and ideally exposure to international industrial SMEs. Familiarity with machining technology and digital process design rounds out your expertise. You’re fluent in German and English, and French skills are an advantage.
You’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to take responsibility and deliver results. You inspire teams through clear communication and collaboration, and you thrive in dynamic environments where innovation and precision matter.
