About your job

You work within our general accounting area and contribute to securing accurate financial data and compliant reporting. The role includes preparing and analyzing ledger accounts and financial statements, supporting accounting projects, and collaborating with various Sandvik entities.

What you’ll do

  • Establish and implement guidelines and policies for the commission companies to ensure that applicable laws and regulations are complied with (RFR 2), IFRS and Sandvik's internal guidelines and policies are complied with
  • Consolidate and report Sandvik AB including commission companies
  • Prepare, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements
  • Analyze and report accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support Group Function with forecasting and reporting
  • Take ownership of the income statement and perform allocations and consolidations
  • Contribute to the Annual Report and handle OneStream reporting
  • Act as Internal Control Tester/Control Owner
  • Manage reports and support external audits
  • Drive process improvements and participate in accounting-related projects

Location and flexibility

You’re based in Sandviken at Södra Järngatan. The role is hybrid, allowing partly remote work.

About you

You’re an experienced accounting professional who feels at home in a broad financial role. With a university degree in economics and fluency in both Swedish and English, you navigate reporting and forecasting with confidence. Experience with SAP or OneStream is an advantage and helps you contribute even more effectively.

You bring:

  • A university degree in economics
  • A solid background in accounting
  • Confidence working with forecasting and financial reporting
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Meritorious experience with SAP and OneStream
