Export Coordinator

Sandvik Rock Processing is the leading supplier of equipment and services for the mining and construction industry and at our Lahti site we engineer and manufacture industry leading hydraulic hammers and other hydraulic attachments for maximum productivity.

We are now looking for an Export Coordinator to join our Order Desk team in Attachment Tools Division. This is a permanent position and based in Lahti.

Your role

Order Desk team is managing daily order-to-delivery flow, and as a team member your overall mission is to provide excellent customer service experience for our customers by ensuring on-time deliveries and good communication during the process. Your daily tasks include order processing (e.g. order handling, availability checks, delivery follow-ups, invoicing), shipping and export arrangements as well as internal and external customer service. You will be an essential part of our Customer Support Services organization, working in high paced core of operations, answering e-mails, solving logistics claims, preparing documents, attending meetings and making freight bookings.

Keys to success
You have already gained some years of experience in exports, international trade and B2B-customer service environment. Order to delivery process and trade compliance are familiar to you and you have basic knowledge of ERP. You are equipped with suitable educational background, which can be e.g. Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics or other relevant field.

As you will be responsible for a set of customers located all over the world, and will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, you need to have fluency in Finnish and in English at minimum. If you have been praised for your excellent interpersonal skills, well-organized working style and ability to work under pressure, you have what it takes to succeed as Export Coordinator. We appreciate a fast learner who is able to adopt basic IT-systems and portals quickly. And in addition, if you have a passion for development and above all a true willingness to serve customers in best possible way, most likely you are our Order Desk’s newest star!
