About the role
We are looking for an Accountant with 3–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of Italian accounting regulations, and ideally hands-on expertise with Oracle NetSuite. You will join our Finance team, supporting the accounting function in a fast-growing environment and contributing to accurate financial reporting for management and investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oracle NetSuite
  • Support the end-to-end accounting cycle within Oracle NetSuite.
  • Contribute to system optimization, configuration, and process automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows in the ERP.

General Accounting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities: AR, AP, general ledger postings, fixed assets, accruals and deferrals.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely month-end and quarter-end closes.
  • Maintain appropriate accounting documentation and internal controls.

Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management and investors.
  • •Support variance analysis and ensure data consistency across reporting cycles.

Group Consolidation (Support)

  • Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements under Italian GAAP (OIC) and/or IFRS.
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.

Compliance & Audit

  • Support relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to annual statutory audits and tax compliance processes.
  • Process Improvement
  • Work with FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to improve accounting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and increased efficiency within NetSuite and other tools.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally in tech/SaaS companies or in audit (Big 4 is a plus).
  • Good knowledge of Italian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite (hands-on experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience with monthly close processes and general accounting tasks.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment.
  • Native Italian speaker with good command of English (B2+).
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with consolidated financial statements under OIC/IFRS.
  • Background in high-growth or venture-backed companies.
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, Rule of 40).
  • Exposure to venture debt, fundraisings, or extraordinary finance transactions.
  • Experience with BI or data visualization tools.
