Currently we have an opening for a Portfolio Specialist, Engines & Powertrain. As a Portfolio Specialist your primary responsibility will be to support sales activities of Commercial offerings. Key interface between global portfolio teams, dealers and sales area. Support PSSR, Account Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure the offerings readiness, provide competitive insights and create sales development plans. Drive future sales revenue targets and support promotion of value-added sales for the portfolio assigned.

What you will be doing
- Act as the key contact between sales area teams and global portfolio teams to support local implementation of commercial offerings, including managing changes and updates.
- Align with Sales Managers to ensure pricing for each offering complies with established pricing guidelines during the quoting process.
- Support the development and local execution of dealership agreements by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze and monitor fleet data to assist sales and planning teams in developing sales strategies; provide actionable insights to identify target opportunities.
- Deliver training and updates to sales personnel to ensure full knowledge and understanding of commercial offerings.
- Collaborate with local teams to develop value-added solutions that improve ease of doing business and provide alternative options where applicable.
- Coordinate with local sourcing and inventory teams to validate stock requirements against forecasts and projected growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Environmental Health and Safety
- Complies with SMR safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Identifies and reports any unsafe work habits.
- Strives to find safer ways for customers to work with Sandvik’s products.
- Ensures team reports are working in a safe manner and following Company Policies and Guidelines.
What you will bring along
- Completion of a post-secondary education program such as a College Diploma, Trade School Certification, or University Degree in a relevant field.
- 4–6 years of directly related industry experience.
- Strong technical and systems knowledge.
- Ability to stay calm, composed, and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when following procedures and protocols.
- Capable of working independently under general supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Confident in making timely and sound decisions, even in fast-paced environments.
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates active listening skills by understanding client needs, asking clarifying questions, and showing genuine consideration for their input.
- Skilled in analyzing complex issues, thinking critically, and developing practical solutions.
- Maintains a positive and empathetic attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Committed to continuous learning and development in emergency response procedures and equipment operation, staying current with industry standards.
- Proven ability to identify, lead, and resolve root cause issues efficiently.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
