Senior Advisor Workshop

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Advisor Workshop to join our team. This position is responsible for coaching and developing Supervisors and Team Leaders to make effective, timely, and quality-driven decisions. The role ensures underground mobile mining equipment is maintained to the highest standards, with optimal utilization of manpower, parts, tooling, and workshop capacity. The role is based on site in the south Gobi on a FIFO basis. The site roster assigned to the position 4 weeks/2 weeks off.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coach and mentor Supervisors and Team Leaders in planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making related to workshop execution and resource management.
Ensure all mobile equipment entering and exiting the workshop meets defined maintenance standards, schedules, and compliance requirements.
Monitor and guide the effective allocation of resources — including personnel, parts, tooling, and workshop space — to avoid bottlenecks and maximize efficiency
Identify inefficiencies in workshop processes and coach the team in adopting best practices to enhance equipment availability, quality of repairs, and maintenance efficiency.
Serve as the communication bridge between planning, execution, and operational stakeholders to align expectations and drive outcomes.
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to the team as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in UG mobile equipment maintenance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or advisory capacity.
Proficiency in English.
Strong understanding of underground mining mobile equipment and workshop operations.
Demonstrated experience in coaching leaders and improving maintenance execution processes.
Deep knowledge of maintenance planning systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, etc.) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and resource planning capability
Strong customer focus with excellent stakeholder management skills.
