The role
The ideal candidate for the role is responsible for the day-to-day activities required to process the manual tasks associated with the carbide recycling process.
Areas of responsibility
- To perform work in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain detailed records of in and out flow
- Conduct weekly stock counts
- Carry out additional duties as instructed by manager
- Receiving, receipting, processing, sorting & dispatching of recycled goods
- General maintenance for the space utilized and housekeeping
- Regular reporting on inventory KPI’s
Your profile
You are a motivated and adaptable individual with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you hold a current “C” Class Driver’s Licence, with a Forklift Licence being desirable. You bring experience in warehouse or stores environments or are eager to learn, supported by your school certificate or equivalent.
You have demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear handwriting, and are confident working both independently and within a team. You are organised, reliable, and thrive in fast-paced, target-driven settings. Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, you’re also skilled in documentation, reporting, and preparing presentations. Your strong interpersonal skills help you build productive relationships, and you remain flexible and safety-conscious when adapting to customer requirements and procedures.
