Maintenance & Facility Manager
We are hiring a Maintenance & Facility Manager at Sandvik Business Area Mining.
The position would directly be reported to the Production Unit Manager, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
Adhere to Sandvik EHS policies and procedures.
Equipment & Maintenance Management:
1) Be responsible for special equipment management and thunder prevention management.
2) As the Administrator of Fire Safety, will be responsible for firefighting equipment management (fire hydrant, fire extinguisher, emergency lights etc.).
3) Be responsible for maintenance team management.
- Assign related tasks to subordinators accordingly.
- Set up APP target for Maintenance team and conduct performance review.
- Training the subordinates to improve the skill of professional.
4) Be responsible for the maintenance management system.
- Make yearly maintenance plans and follow up the progress.
- Ensure the normal operation of all production equipment & internal facility.
- Be responsible for both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipment and keep them on high availability.
- Participate in workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities.
- Responsible for the KPI target of equipment availability.
- Identify the bottleneck machine/unique resource and find solution to improve its availability.
5) Review and check the list of spare parts to ensure all machines’ high availability.
6) Responsible for maintenance cost control.
7) New equipment investment:
- Identify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operation.
- Draft the technical specification of new machine together with Engineering dept. and follow up the purchasing progress until installation is finished.
- Support production department to improve the automation continually.
8) Establish and implement TPM project.
9) Support global projects and implement continuous improvement.
Facility Management:
1) Execute the maintenance of the facility equipment and infrastructures according to the preventive maintenance plan to minimum the facility equipment downtime.
2) Draft the maintenance instruction and preventive maintenance plan of the facility equipment.
3) Manage the facility service providers.
4) Draft the spare parts requirements plan.
5) Participate in the installation of facility equipment to ensure the time schedule for the installation & commissioning.
6) Execute the maintenance training to the facility service contractor to improve their competence of daily maintenance.
7) Familiar with facility continuous improvement, familiar with M&E installation, civil work.
8) Maintenance experience of equipment (like HV/LV, air compressor, cooling water system, chiller, steam system, firefighting, HVAC…).
9) Implement all the jobs with strong problem-solving skills, strong competence of manual operation.
10) Participate in the monthly facility meeting.
11) Supervise the improvement action of facility.
12) Collect information about electric power, air compressors, water supply and make plans to save energy based on the analysis.
Your profile:
1) Gender/Age: No limit.
2) Language Skill: Fluent Mandarin and English.
3) Diploma / Degree: Bachelor or above.
4) Major: Electrical Engineering and Automation, Mechanicals Industry related.
5) 10 years or above experience in mechanical machining, CNC machine program or related.
6) 10 years’ experience in maintenance and facility management.
7) Able to use AutoCAD or UGS, Good command of office software.
8) Strong problems solving skills.
9) Strong people management skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
