Vice President Marketing and Communication – Sandvik Coromant

We are now looking for a Vice President Marketing and Communication to take a leading role in shaping how Sandvik Coromant connects strategy, brand, customer value and culture — and to help drive our continued transformation and growth.

About the role

As Vice President Marketing and Communication, you are a key member of the Sandvik Coromant Management Group, reporting directly to the President. You provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for our global marketing, communication and brand agenda, ensuring a unified and impactful approach across all customer and employee touchpoints.

You lead a global, multidisciplinary organization of +70 people covering brand and marketing strategy, demand marketing, content and channels, internal communication, media and external relations, and digital go-to-market transformation. In close collaboration with Sales, Product & Solutions Management, IT and Group functions, you translate business strategy into customer centric, data-driven and measurable outcomes. A central part of the role is leading the digital transformation of go-to-market, including the development of the web in close partnership with Information Technology.

You are accountable for media relations and reputation management, ensuring a strong, credible and consistent external presence. Change and crisis communication is central to the role, supporting leaders through change. You balance a yearly communication plan with timely responses to organizational needs, especially during change and urgent matters. As a member of the business area Machining Communications, Brand and Marketing Management team, you contribute to the overall Machining communications strategy and governance, and you drive cross-divisional priorities and synergies.

In addition, you lead, develop and inspire a high-performing global leadership team, building strong capabilities, engagement and trust. The role also includes responsibility for the Site Management for Sandvik Coromant headquarters in Sandviken, ensuring a safe, engaging and well-functioning workplace.

Global travel is part of the role and the location is flexible within Europe.

Your profile

We are looking for a senior leader who combines a strong strategic perspective with the ability to execute and deliver results in a complex, global environment. You bring extensive experience in marketing, communication, brand and go-to-market leadership, ideally from a global industrial or B2B context.

You operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels, communicate with clarity and impact at executive level, and bring a customer-centric, data-driven and digitally curious mindset. An interest in technology and digital development is important, as is the ability to navigate complexity and prioritize what creates the greatest value.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. A university degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field is expected. You have more than 15 years of experience.
