A key focus of the role will be identifying capability gaps, supporting ongoing professional development, and building a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional customer and business outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team by setting clear objectives, driving accountability, and managing performance to achieve business plan targets. Ensure effective customer development strategies and account plans are executed to maximise return on investment, while maintaining high-quality CRM data and leveraging business intelligence insights to identify opportunities, prioritise resources, and drive profitable growth. Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational performance, collaborate cross-functionally to optimise business outcomes, and work closely with the Intelligent Manufacturing (IMF) team to expand the adoption of digital solutions. Support the Cluster Manager through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and business reporting.

Country Management & Governance
- Provide oversight of the Sandvik Coromant legal entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal controls. Act as the statutory representative, engaging with government agencies, auditors, and legal advisors while maintaining strong financial oversight, risk management, and operational alignment with global standards. Represent the entity in holding company meetings, providing governance updates and supporting alignment between local operations and broader business objectives.
You are a proven sales leader with a strong background in industrial cutting tools, manufacturing, or engineering environments. Holding a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, you bring more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership, with a demonstrated track record of delivering growth, outperforming market conditions, and leading high-performing teams. You have extensive experience in account management, commercial negotiations, customer relationship management, and project delivery, combined with strong business and financial acumen. Your leadership style is aligned with the Sandvik Leadership Model, and you have a passion for coaching, developing, and empowering people to achieve outstanding results.
Highly strategic yet hands-on, you can translate business objectives into actionable plans, drive change, and influence stakeholders across a matrix organisation. You are comfortable using data and digital tools to support decision-making and business performance, with experience leveraging CRM systems, Power BI, Office 365, and sales methodologies such as Value Selling, Productivity Improvement Programs (PIP), and Productivity Analyzer (PA).
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong communicator, relationship builder, and people leader who thrives in a dynamic and geographically diverse environment. You will also bring a commitment to operational excellence, LEAN principles, continuous improvement, and customer-focused business development.
