About the job

You lead the entire commercial strategy and execution for the Cimatron business globally. The scope includes revenue and profitability, market coverage, sales excellence, forecasting, reseller performance, and strategic customer relationships. You lead a geographically distributed commercial organization, collaborate closely with Cimatron leadership team, and report business performance, risks and strategic recommendations to the President of Cimatron.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global sales strategy aligned with business targets, growth ambitions and clear returns on investment.
  • Drive revenue and margin performance across all regions, maintaining a strong pipeline, reliable forecasts and disciplined commercial governance.
  • Develop market coverage, segmentation and go-to-market models across direct sales and reseller channels.
  • Lead, coach and develop regional sales leaders while shaping an organization equipped for current and future market needs.
  • Act as executive sponsor for key customers, strategic accounts and major opportunities, supporting selected negotiations and enterprise deals.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, Operations, Finance and HR to strengthen market execution, customer value and organizational performance.

Location and flexibility

The position offers a flexible location within Europe. Travel is expected to reach approximately 25–30% over time.

Your profile

You have extensive experience in international B2B software sales and a record of growing revenue in technically complex markets. Your background includes leading multi-regional organizations and turning market intelligence, sales performance, and customer insights into focused commercial action.

Your background includes:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • Extensive B2B sales experience within software, manufacturing, machine tools, cutting tools or a closely related environment.
  • Proven leadership of multi-regional sales teams, including experience leading other leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM workflows, manufacturing processes, global market dynamics and CRM-supported sales management.
  • Advanced analytical, forecasting and commercial planning capabilities.
  • Fluency in English is required, while German language skills are an advantage.

Previous experience as a Sales Director, Regional Vice President or in an equivalent senior position is also preferred, as is experience with CAD, CAM or PLM sales.

You lead by example, inspire trust, develop people, and set clear expectations while remaining adaptable in a fast-moving environment. Strong executive communication and cultural intelligence help you influence effectively and bring geographically dispersed teams together around shared priorities.

The team

You lead a global commercial organization of approximately 37 employees, including regional sales leaders and teams working across direct sales, reseller management, sales support, and customer service. Collaboration across regions, cultures, and functions are essential in this position.
