About the Opportunity

The Fire Suppression Supervisor plays a crucial role in deploying the strategic direction of the fire suppression business, ensuring the growth of the business by deploying tactics to engage customers and grow the business. This position shall also oversee the day-to-day operations of the fire suppression team leads. This position involves organising cost tracking and management initiatives and deploying resources across the region. The Supervisor will oversee the leadership of fire suppression teams - guiding, coaching, and managing teams to ensure efficient operations, adherence to processes, and the achievement of performance targets. The Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment, fostering employee development, and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing Fire Suppression team while fostering a strong safety culture.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service outcomes.

  • Oversee financial performance, including budgets, contract risk, and profitability.

  • Ensure quality standards, processes, and compliance requirements are consistently met.

  • Manage warranty claims and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support daily operations, resolve service issues, and ensure efficient scope and contract delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement, team capability development, and effective cross‑department communication.

Roster: Monday – Friday (9-day fortnight roster available)

About you:

This role requires proven technical capability in fire suppression and ideally supported by Sandvik certification in service and installation. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business (Front Line Management) will be highly regarded. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to EHS leadership, with the drive and determination to achieve company targets and operational goals. A positive, proactive approach and well-developed communication skills are essential to effectively manage teams and ensure customer expectations are consistently met. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites is required.
