About the Role:

Based at our Kewdale site and reporting to the Site Operations Manager, this role combines relationship building, technical sales and customer support. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions that support durability, corrosion protection and long-term performance. This position is responsible for driving sales growth of galvanizing products and services, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across key markets. You’ll play a key role in expanding market share while delivering exceptional service and commercially sound outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure and manufacturing markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, quoting, negotiation and closing
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline, tracking performance, forecasts and conversion rates
  • Provide technical advice on galvanizing processes, applications and product benefits
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
  • Partner with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business through ongoing customer engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sales strategies and market growth initiatives

About You:

You bring solid experience in technical or solution‑based sales within industrial, steel, galvanizing, construction or manufacturing environments. You’re confident discussing product specifications, coating systems, performance requirements and applications with customers, and can translate technical detail into practical, value‑driven solutions. You’re comfortable working autonomously, managing your territory, and partnering closely with customers, engineers and site teams to deliver technically sound outcomes and achieve sales targets.

  • Experience in sales within manufacturing, construction, infrastructure or mining industries

  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

  • Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and engaging way

  • Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into sales

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • A proactive and self-driven approach

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of galvanising or corrosion protection solutions

  • Formal qualification in business, sales or a related field
