Your key performance areas
As a Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, including solutions for automation, digitalization and electrification, as well as providing maintenance programmes and services that extend the uptime of our customers' equipment fleet. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining underground drilling, loading and hauling equipment at our customers' mining and tunneling sites. You will also be commissioning new equipment and training our customers.
The Service Technicians will spend their time working underground, so candidates must be comfortable with these conditions.
Your profile
You have a technical qualification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields and several years' industry experience. High voltage electrical experience would be an advantage. You are a great team player with excellent communication and active listening skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. With a drive for customer satisfaction, you are flexible and highly motivated.
The Service Technician will also possess:
A safety focused attitude and capability of working independently with safety always as a priority
Excellent troubleshooting ability with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics
Good communication and customer service skills
