About the job
As Managing Director, you hold full accountability for Almü’s performance and future direction. You define strategy, drive profitable growth, and reinforce the company’s position as a trusted technical partner for demanding customers. Acting as a key interface to Sandvik Coromant, you also ensure alignment with group priorities and contribute to overall performance.

Job responsibilities

  • Hold full P&L responsibility and lead the overall business

  • Define and execute growth strategies across products, markets, and technologies

  • Drive sales performance and strengthen key customer relationships

  • Ensure operational excellence across production, engineering, and supply chain

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team

  • Advance innovation capabilities in PCD and precision tooling

Location and flexibility

The position is based at Almü’s office in Germany.

Your profile
With a strong track record in senior leadership, you bring both technical depth and commercial acumen. An entrepreneurial mindset allows you to translate strategy into execution and deliver sustainable business results.

Your background includes:

  • Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing or tooling environments

  • Deep understanding of precision machining, particularly PCD and carbide applications

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing business performance

  • Proven ability to lead through strategy execution and growth delivery

  • Fluency in German and English

A collaborative and confident leadership style sets the tone for success. You build trust across stakeholders, inspire teams to perform, and approach challenges with clarity and determination while keeping a hands-on mindset
