Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Reports to: Accounts Payable Team Lead

Travel: None

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is part of a team responsible for the complete Accounts Payable process from reviewing and matching purchase orders and receivers, entering invoices and initiating payment runs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Enters data and maintains records, invoices and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased.

Supports the Production Controllers and General Accounting Specialists with analyses and transaction details.

Runs daily, weekly and monthly reports such as AP aging.

Prepares and runs weekly disbursement process.

Works on ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree in Accounting or practical work experience.

3+ years’ experience in an office environment is required.

Experience with Infor Visual beneficial.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail plus well organized.

Motivated and self-starter.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at a time.
