SW Architect / Developer, Autonomous Equipment
Business Unit Automation is the home of AutoMine® - the world leading solution for autonomous mining. We are a global organization and developing fully automated and robotic mining technologies for mobile machinery.
We are now looking for experienced, motivated and hands on Software Architect or Software Developer, Autonomous Equipment to join AutoMine® R&D team. The position is based in Tampere, Finland at our home office in Tulli Business Park located in the city center. This is an incredible opportunity for you to join our Business Unit Automation team and be part of the digital transformation in the mining industry, with projects ranging from embedded software for self-driving industrial vehicles, AI and machine learning. About your mission
You will join our Automine® UG software development team focusing on work related to autonomous machine’s Navigation and Tooling. You will complement our development team and with team you will specify, plan and develop AutoMine® solution and provide hands on expert level assistance for technical issues and for quality improvements. In architect role you will also define and design the software architecture and provide guidance for high-level structures of different software applications.
About you
You have a relevant technical education and prior experience working with the specified context. We value your experience of automation or mobile equipment development in international business environment. You can specify, plan, and document your ideas and you have a proactive systematic and structured way of working. You have good verbal and writing skills in English. To work with our applications, you need good competence in C++, Angular in Linux environment. C# / .Net / Vue or robot framework are seen as an advantage. Architect role requires strong experience on that context. Also you are willing to travel occasionally.
