About the Opportunity
As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for enabling Sandvik’s regional Sales Areas to successfully promote and sell the UFR product range, with a key focus on supporting and equipping our sales channels. Acting as the link between Sandvik’s regional sales teams and the UFR product and commercial teams, you will drive consistent strategy, messaging, pricing, and sales tools across all markets.
This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications for Automation and will drive marketing initiatives that align with both Sandvik Automation and UFR business goals. Travel of up to 50% and flexibility to support teams across multiple time zones will be required
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by taking all reasonable steps to protect employees' wellbeing.
- Support Sales Area and Business Line Managers in planning and executing the UFR sales strategy by providing training, tools, and technical resources; coordinating pricing, configuration, and documentation with Product Managers and Sales Support; and maintaining oversight of the UFR pipeline via CRM.
- Grow and extend the UFR customer base in both surface mining market as well as underground mining markets.
- Manage the shift to BU Automation sales processes, work with Sales Areas on forecasting, marketing, and sales cases, drive business development plans in a matrix environment, achieve sales targets, support pricing and discount management, engage with customer needs, provide leadership, conduct training with Learning Solutions, oversee competitor insights, and ensure compliance with trial and rental processes.
- Assist Sales Areas with early-stage engagement on strategic UFR opportunities, support tenders, pricing and scoping for major deals, and act as an escalation point to remove commercial or technical blockers.
- Act as the primary link between UFR and Sales Areas for all sales and marketing matters, prepare quarterly performance and forecast reports, align internal stakeholders on pricing and deal timelines, and contribute to monthly order intake forecasts.
About you
You bring proven experience in sales enablement, partner or channel management, or B2B industrial sales, along with strong capability across strategy, content, and campaign execution. You have a solid understanding of mining automation, robotics, or OEM distribution channels, and excel in communication and stakeholder engagement. Your commercial acumen and structured problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex sales environments effectively. Proficiency in CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce and Power BI is essential. You’re also comfortable travelling up to 50% of the time and working flexibly across global time zones.
