About the role:
We’re looking for a technically minded and commercially driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our Screening Media team in Jandakot. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering and customer success and want to help mining operations perform at their best, this role is for you.
As a key link between our customers, sales, and engineering teams, you’ll combine your technical process knowledge with strong relationship-building skills to drive the growth of our Screening Media product range. You’ll have the opportunity to solve real-world problems, influence product innovation, and deliver tangible results that improve our customers’ operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Assist in strategies to grow our Screening Media business across Australia.
Promote and sell Screening Media products, meeting and exceeding order intake and revenue targets.
Build strong relationships with mining and processing customers, understanding their operational needs and providing tailored solutions.
Work closely with R&D and sales teams to share market insights, identify new opportunities, and influence product development.
Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, troubleshoot challenges, and demonstrate product value.
Partner with sales and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
What you’ll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or similar)
Solid understanding of mineral processing operations
Experience in technical sales, customer-facing roles, or business development within mining or heavy industry
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP (or similar), and CRM systems
Willingness to travel to customer sites, offices, and vendor locations as required, with a current C-class driver’s license
