SRT Technician

SRT TECHNICIAN

Purpose of the position:

To support day to day running of contract operations mainly in terms of rig activities regarding Rock Drilling Tools

Job-specific responsibilities:

Technical Product Support – Bit Grinding and Hammer Servicing
Technical Product Support – Parameter Check (Rotation/Feed(signs))
Real-time delivery of RDT to rigs.
Co-ordinate installation of RDT on rigs
Detailed discard analysis and dull grading (further to claims)
Report incidents that may include abuse of RDT and any others.
Track all new issues, discards and losses.
Perform other reasonable relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

Grade 12 Certificate & Certificate in Mechanical Technician

3years in the related Field
