Are you an experienced Compensation & Benefits professional looking to combine hands‑on execution with meaningful impact at scale? At Sandvik, you will play an important role in shaping and delivering reward practices in a global, high‑tech organization with a strong Swedish heritage.
In this role, you will support the delivery and execution of Sandvik’s Compensation & Benefits agenda across Southeast Asia and Japan, ensuring consistent, compliant, and market‑aligned reward practices. You will partner closely with regional HR, Business Area stakeholders, and Global Rewards Operations (GRO) to deliver annual reward cycles, support market benchmarking, and coordinate C&B initiatives across multiple countries and time zones.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to support the delivery of Compensation & Benefits activities across Southeast Asia and Japan.
- Contribute to annual reward processes, including merit, bonus, pay range updates, and off‑cycle salary reviews.
- Support market benchmarking and compensation analysis, ensuring reward practices remain competitive, compliant, and market‑aligned.
- Review benefits offerings against market practices, including benefits benchmarking and support for benefit reviews as required.
- Provide guidance on compensation policies, incentives, and allowances in line with approved frameworks and group governance.
- Coordinate with global teams to support system processes, data accuracy, and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards; regional exposure is a must.
- Solid experience supporting annual reward processes, including merit and bonus cycles, and working with market survey providers (e.g. Mercer or similar).
- Total Rewards / Compensation certification (e.g. WorldatWork, Mercer, or similar) is an advantage.
- Experience supporting multi‑country stakeholders and managing competing priorities in a regional or matrixed environment.
- Experience working with HRIS and HR analytics tools; Workday experience is preferred.
The role supports Southeast Asia and Japan and may require occasional travel based on business needs. - Ability to start work immediately is an advantage.
- Local hire preferred (candidates currently based in Malaysia).
