Production Operator

Buffalo Tungsten, a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high purity tungsten powder is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Operator. As a production operator you will operate machinery and equipment to produce tungsten metal powder.

Second Shift runs from 4pm to 12am (midnight). You will work a six day on, two day off work schedule. Days off rotate each week over an 8-week cycle. For example, one week you have Saturday and Sunday off, the next week Sunday and Monday, then Monday and Tuesday, etc. Starting Pay: $19.25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Report for all assigned shifts

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment

• Measure precisely and keep accurate records

• Monitor production conditions such as temperature and gas flows

• Operate a forklift to move material around the plant, load and unload trucks and equipment

• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion

• Pack material and prepare for shipment

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary - training provided

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficial

• Requires standing or walking most of shift

• Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift

• Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
