Sandvik launches materials.sandvik

Sandvik has moved its website for advanced stainless steels and special alloys into Sandvik Group’s own top-level domain .sandvik. Being a world-leading developer and manufacturer of advanced materials, one benefit with the new web address is that it reflects the offering of the website.

“The launch of materials.sandvik is an important step for us, fully aligning with Sandvik’s web strategy to have its main websites in proprietary top-level domains,” says Joakim Karlström, responsible for Branding and Digital Marketing at business area Sandvik Materials Technology.

With .sandvik at the end of the address, it also gives a clear message to the visitors that the website is authorized by Sandvik, as Sandvik owns the top-level domain.
