Employee surveys

To build an engaged workforce and provide a positive employee experience we recognize it is more important than ever to understand and act upon employee ideas, needs and concerns.

Our all-employee survey is a process focusing on employee engagement and the employee experience in Sandvik. The process includes both the survey and a team performance dialogue where actions from the survey results and team performance dialogue are set.

We also have introduced a pulse survey tool to allow us to continuously listen to our employees; to ask the important questions, at the most appropriate time, helping us know our employees' views and opinions.

For us, both our all-employee survey and our pulse surveys are powerful business tools which support us to identify organizational trends and see Sandvik through the eyes of our employees. Using the data, leaders can then develop strategies that create a positive employee experience, drive improved company performance and allow our employees to perform to the best of their abilities.

The result of the 2018 survey was an engagement index of 76% (target 75%). The next all-employee survey will run during 2020.
