Equipment Sales Administrator

Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions has an opening for Equipment Sales Administrator!

Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions, the leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. As the Sales & Equipment Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing all capital equipment orders to the factory and coordinating delivery logistics for customers and dealers. This includes ensuring proper freight documentation is in place and all relevant paperwork accompanies capital equipment sales. Additionally, you will maintain the Equipment Sales Database and appropriate filing systems. You will also provide administrative support to Business Line Managers, Sales Representatives, and the Service Department as needed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing capital equipment orders in accordance with company policy
  • Creating initial WIP jobs for capital equipment and managing them through to final invoicing
  • Overseeing the distribution of equipment manuals for sales and rentals
  • Maintaining the Weekly Equipment Delivery Tracker for SUDEX, LOHA, DRRI & AUTOMATION
  • Ensuring all invoices related to equipment sales and rentals are processed within 48 hours of notification
  • Processing sales/rental credits in accordance with company policy
  • Effectively communicating and responding to questions from internal and external customers
  • Providing all necessary documentation to Sandvik Financing or third parties if equipment is financed
  • Complying with SMRT safety policies and applicable government, customer, or industry regulations

EXPERIENCE

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in managing the Order to Cash process.
  • Experience in the mining or construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in job cost systems and computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with SAP is also beneficial.

EDUCATION

  • You hold an associate degree or have equivalent experience.
