About the role:
For our sales team at Buffalo Tungsten, we are now seeking an Inside Sales Professional who is eager to support our growth ambitions, has a strong customer focus and would like to support our Sales Director in the full process from order to cash.
This position is located on-site in Depew, NY. There will be an opportunity for the position to be hybrid after training is completed.
Responsibilities:
You are the first in-house contact for our customers and provide market and customer feedback to the organization.
You ensure compliance with local legislation and Sandvik process and regulations in the Accounts Payable or Receivable area.
You create all relevant documents to cover the process from order to cash, like quotes, order confirmation, delivery note and invoice.
Compliance with standard ordering processes and rules is one of your priorities.
You support with preparing reporting and performance analysis.
You ensure optimization of in-country logistics and transportation cycle time.
You support establishing ISO standards and keep them up to date.
Travelling within US if required
Your background and profile:
While your background is essential, your personality is even more important for us!
You have true passion for building excellent customer relations and a comprehensive understanding of sales, sales support processes in general and solid technical understanding.
Bachelor’s degree in business or communication preferred
Prior Sales Experience is a plus.
You bring with you first sales support experience where new business development is a focus.
Your strong technical background will help you to understand our powder products.
You have a good ability to negotiate and are effective in building long-term relationships.
A basic understanding of logistics processes will help you in your day-to-day tasks.
You can work both in metric and imperial units.
You are proficient in the use of MS Office and have experience with ERP Systems (SAP sales and distribution preferred).
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a good structure and experience from setting practices and ways of working.
With the ability to provide customer tailored services, work effectively as part of a team you are actively contributing to accomplishing organizational goals.
You have the ability to listen and give feedback and are flexible as well as self-motivated.

Pay Range : 65k - 70k based on experience
