Currently, we have an opening for an Area Manager – Rotary Products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced, hands-on sales manager to expand our client base in Western Canada. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients in the blasthole mining industry. This role is a field based & remote (home based office) employment for someone that's looking for a long-term career with advancement opportunities. Company vehicle and related expenses will be covered.

What you will be doing

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the blast hole mining industry.

  • Grow revenue and profitability for key customers through direct personal customer relationships, active participation in management of key corporate accounts in the region and through the development and execution of a high-performance account management way of working.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase our company's brand awareness and market share in the region.

  • Responsible for consolidated Terelion Tools P&L and net working capital / CCC as well as responsibility for the respective sales costs and finding agreement on shared costs and resources which are managed in the region or shared with other segments or businesses on an agreed-allocation principle.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mine management, operations, and procurement.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate new leads.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the mining industry.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.

What you will bring along

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Business, Marketing, or Geology).

  • At least five (5) years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the mining industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the mining industry and its competitive landscape in Western Canada.

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.

  • Full English proficiency required, verbal and written; Bilingual (French) a definite asset.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated, broad team and to lead decision making processes in a team environment.

  • Proven time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Highly motivated, results oriented and self-driven, with a sense of urgency.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required, up to 75% of the time.
