The role

As we continue to grow our presence in surface mining and acquire new contracts, we have opportunities for experienced & motivated Surface Drill Fitters to join our WA Field Service Team in what will be permanent full-time positions.

These roles will be FIFO Ex Perth and offered on either 8:6, 2/2 or 2/1 roster to suite your lifestyle.

As a Sandvik Surface Drill Fitter you will:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to Sandvik Surface Drills and components.

  • Perform diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems at our customer sites.

  • Service and supporting DI650i, DR410i, DP1500, DP1600

  • Conduct Drilling Automation & maintenance set up.

  • Provide product support to customers as needed.

  • Embrace new technologies to improve customer ownership experience.

  • Work with a dedicated regional support team to create new opportunities.

Your Profile

  • Relevant Trade qualifications

  • Experience maintaining Surface Drilling equipment – Sandvik equipment preferred.

  • Problem solving, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.

  • Strong and proven safety culture.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to providing quality customer service.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.

  • You must have the right to work in Australia.
