The role
As we continue to grow our presence in surface mining and acquire new contracts, we have opportunities for experienced & motivated Surface Drill Fitters to join our WA Field Service Team in what will be permanent full-time positions.
These roles will be FIFO Ex Perth and offered on either 8:6, 2/2 or 2/1 roster to suite your lifestyle.
As a Sandvik Surface Drill Fitter you will:
Perform maintenance and repairs to Sandvik Surface Drills and components.
Perform diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems at our customer sites.
Service and supporting DI650i, DR410i, DP1500, DP1600
Conduct Drilling Automation & maintenance set up.
Provide product support to customers as needed.
Embrace new technologies to improve customer ownership experience.
Work with a dedicated regional support team to create new opportunities.
Your Profile
Relevant Trade qualifications
Experience maintaining Surface Drilling equipment – Sandvik equipment preferred.
Problem solving, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.
Strong and proven safety culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing quality customer service.
Computer literacy.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.
You must have the right to work in Australia.
