Key performance areas
As a Warehouse Associate III (Palletizer), you will be responsible for processing outbound product for customers working within the guidelines of all established policies and procedures. You will need to perform in accordance with established targets and objectives, including but not limited to: productivity, quality, attendance, safety and on time shipping performance. Additional responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate III (Palletizer) include:
Scan, sort and palletize shipments according to the correct gateways, shipping methods and destinations
Organize and prepare Export shipments, ensuring that all customs & invoicing and shipping labels are precisely matched and applied to each destination.
Ability to operate Lifting equipment for loading shipments into the shipping trucks and trailers in accordance to the established safety and security requirements. Valid fork-lift equipment license is required or must be obtained.
Good communication skills. Ability to work and dialogue with multiple stakeholders, such as Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leads and Office Personnel to ensure that shipping deadlines are met.
Knowledge about the specific WMS screens related to the Loading and Shipping operation, such as Sandvik Orderline Progression, Shipment Display, Transport Equipment Management Operations screens.
Basic troubleshooting of WMS issues related to Pallet Build and Loading processes
Proper handling of shipping issues such as missing packages and packages not scanned for proper shipping and invoicing to the end destinations.
Be able to maintain an organized and functional workplace to ensure correct quality standards are met.
Ensure all shipments are invoiced, closed and loaded prior to departure.
Perform other warehouse operations such as Picking & Packing of customer orders, Inspection of product to look for damages and ensure proper quality & Counting of product based on customer order quantities.
Perform Value Added Services (VAS) to ensure product is labeled per customer requirements
YOUR PROFILE
The Warehouse Associate must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet 6-8 hours/day. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of WMS systems and ISO systems. You must possess basic computer knowledge, are team driven and result oriented. You must be legally permitted to work and reside in the United States.
