Buyer Analyst II

Key Performance Areas

Purchase goods and services from suppliers by creating and releasing purchase orders, administrate order acknowledgements/confirmations and follow up and track deliveries. Ensure contract compliance with, and use of global/regional/country/local contracts.


  • Create and release purchase orders
  • Track order acknowledgements/confirmations including follow up and to take actions on deviations from purchase orders
  • Work with Suppliers to manage defects/returns
  • Give purchasing support to internal users. including, but not limited to, engineering, accounting, sourcing, quality, warehouse/receiving, production
  • Identify, prepare and propose sourcing activities.
  • Maintain supplier data
  • Onboarding of suppliers internally.
  • Ensure contract compliance with, and use of, global/regional/country /local contracts within area of responsibility.

About You

Ideally, the Buyer Analyst will have hands-on experience ordering steel components (desired but not required) and working knowledge of manufacturing processes including but not limited to metal working, fabrication and welding. Familiarity with product costing and supply chain optimization is needed. Prior use of the JBA system is considered a plus, but training will be provided if needed.
